Yes, but only if you organise it with us first. Each depot has a slightly differnt process, so contact your local team for your drop off instructions 

Extending your rental will depend on availability. You will need to contact us to request an extension and confirm any updated price.

Yes, at no additional charge, providing we have their licence details at the time of booking.

Cross Country Rentals hires vehicles to drivers aged 18 years and older, providing they have a full and valid driver’s licence. For drivers under the age of 21, insurance options vary slightly.

Every driver must hold a full and valid driver’s licence. Special licences for 15-seater mini buses and furniture trucks may apply, which need to be organised by the driver before their rental or lease commences. Contact us for more information.

We offer 24-hour-a-day seven-days-a-week operational support, so if you have a breakdown, accident or any other problems, please contact us immediately. Any mechanical or towing expenses must be authorised by Cross Country Rentals before repairs take place.

Yes, a bond is required to hire a vehicle from Cross Country Rentals. Your credit card will be charged a bond which will be refunded, subject to the vehicle condition, upon the vehicle's return.

Yes. We consider a long-term lease six months or longer. Find out more about lease options here or contact us today to discuss your options.

No! whether it is one hour, or 3 years. We have a minimum charge of 24 hours however.

You can pay via Cash, Eftpos, Debit or Credit Card. Please note that we need a valid credit card in the hire name against the booking, and we are unable to provide bond refunds via Cash.

Yes! We include basic insurance cover in all our rentals, the excess does vary based on the vehicle type selected.

Yes, but only from selected locations. These will be bookable when using our booking engine online if they are available from your selected branch.

Yes we operate a “full to Full” policy, where we provide the vehicle full, and you return it the same. The fuel used in our vehicles vary, but Utes, Trucks and Vans are usually Diesel, and Cars are usually Unleded. We will advise the Octane on collection.

Yes we have after hours processes at all our locations, these vary slightly from branch to branch and will be advised by the local team. After Hours services may have a cost that will be advised.

Our Airport Locations offer free shuttle service, please advise us of flight details so our team can assist with this. You will simply call us when you land and we will direct you to the collection point. Non-Airport branches can provide shuttles too and from the airport. There are costs for these. Please talk to our team to book this in with your vehicle.
